CARA Development Foundation is a women-centred organization dedicated to uplifting disadvantaged women who sustain families, food systems, and local economies. We partner with them to expand access to care, create dignified livelihoods, and amplify their voice in decision-making. By advancing rights and building inclusive systems, we strive for a society where women and girls are healthy, safe, and supported to live with dignity.

Our 5-Core Strategy
Ensure that women and girls have access to quality health, social, and protection services, through awareness campaigns, service provision, and community-based prevention programs.
Support access to dignified livelihoods, income opportunities, and meaningful participation in decision-making to advance the economic, social, and civic rights of women and girls.
Work with communities, institutions, and stakeholders to prevent cases of violence, abuse, and discriminatory norms, by strengthening systems for inclusion and enabling environments that uphold the rights and wellbeing of women and girls.
Undertake research, learning, advocacy, and partnerships necessary to advance the above objects in a lawful, non-profit, and non-partisan manner.
Reinforce CARA’s institutional capacity, partnerships, and resource base to collaborate effectively with the government, private sector, communities, and global actors, and drive sustainable, inclusive development impact.
